Live recordings

Hi,

We have uploaded two ouf our songs to our Facebook page:
http://www.facebook.com/pages/Grande/120261964703638

One of them is "Ébressz fel" (originally Wake me!) and the other one is "Klub" (The club).
Originally both songs had English lyrics but a local record label suggested to write our lyrics in Hungarian so we changed them. This is still a question to us how to sing.
When we start to write a song it doesn't matter if we write it in English or in Hungarian. But later the melody will describe the whole song the rhythm and it is really hard to change it and "translate" to the other one.

It's festival time

It's festival time everywhere. Time to reconnect to nature and loud music, booze, girls and lads, your friends, family members. It doesn't matter if you like metal, rock, pop, disco, whatever. What really matters is your gear and your attitude! You can be a starter or an old fox, a kid going there for the first time or a festival survivor parent. Weather can be nice but it can be really rainy-messy-slimy-muddy.

BBC prepared a Collective Festival Survival Guide here:

Our flyer for Friday

The Boss

Rehearsal yesterday

Yesterday we had a rehearsal before the Friday gig. It went well no doubt. We had only time to stay from 5 pm to 8 pm. We went trough the new songs first like "Rocket", "Friends" and the rest. We plan to play 13 songs on Friday.
This is the first time we play at this place and honestly during summer and festivals time not to much crowd is expected. We'll see.

Unfortunately Hungary is not that party place anymore (in terms of foreign bands) and honestly I don't know why. During summer time it's fine because we have lots of festivals; Sziget Festival, Volt Festival, Balaton Sound etc. but during the whole year it's dead. Concert organizers always bring big old names like Seal, or Keisha (she will attend on a T-mobile event).

If there is any good band (that we like) we need to go to Vienna, just a few example:
My Chemical Romance support SUM 41 - 27, June.
Primus - 29, June.
Limp Bizkit - 5, July.
Morissey - 21, July.

Concert in Artkatakomba

We are playing a gig on this Friday at Artkatakomba (address: Budapest, 13th district, Szent István krt. 2.) from 9 pm. Feel free to come if you are around the corner!

New era

Ok, let's see where we are now. We are here in South Central Europe, we are Hungarians speaking Hungarian and only some of the world inhabitants speak this language. So...from now on our cyber language will be the English (what a surprise!).

Anyway you may not know yet we are supposed to be an indie band based in Budapest and this is also a very good reason to publish our daily life in English.

We are Grande and you will also find some information about us @
